Crestfall Collective Weekly Injury Report: The Hamstring Incident and Beyond

Three players down, one mysteriously transformed into a sentient vapor. Medical staff remains perplexed.

The Crestfall Collective's training week was marked by a cascade of unfortunate medical events that have left our roster significantly compromised heading into Sunday's matchup against the Neon Jackals.

Our starting linebacker, Brock Terminus, sustained a Grade 2 hamstring tear during Wednesday's interval work. Initial prognosis suggested a return-to-play timeline of 10-14 days, though our medical team notes he has been spending considerable time in the ice bath muttering about "the pull" and "unfinished business."

Wide receiver Tasha Novak reported to the training staff Thursday morning with what she described as "a shooting pain that tastes purple." After extensive examination—including consultations with our sports neurologist, an aromatherapist, and a bewildered ophthalmologist—we've classified it as a nerve impingement with synesthetic complications. Status remains unclear.

Defensive end Marcus Venn experienced what eyewitnesses describe as "a fundamental restructuring of his molecular composition" during a routine pass-rush drill. He is currently under observation in a climate-controlled chamber. The facility has been sealed. We are monitoring the situation with great interest and absolutely no medical precedent.

Finally, backup safety Cody Reeves twisted his ankle stepping out of his car at the facility parking lot on Friday. This is apparently a genuine injury. We are somewhat relieved.

The medical staff continues to operate at peak efficiency, whatever that now means.
